Posting Summary | A Post-Doctoral position for a systems neuroscientist is available in the laboratory of Dr. Denis Pare, located in the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (CMBN) of Rutgers University-Newark. Dr. Pare's work focuses on understanding the relation between the insular cortex, amygdala, and associated structures during motivated behaviors. The successful candidate will be responsible for experiments involving multi-site unit and local field potential recordings in behaving rats or patch clamp recordings in vitro. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related area. Proficiency with coding and experience with electrophysiology and optogenetics is required. Anticipated start date is June 5, 2024. |
