Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee our Software Development Services team, ensuring the successful conception, specification, design, programming, documentation, testing, and maintenance of applications, frameworks, and software components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the software development domain, with expertise in managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the integration of development tools and methodologies, including Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), code repositories, CI/CD tools, software testing, and model development, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities
    Lead and oversee the Software Development Services team, providing guidance and direction to ensure project success and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, and develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
  • Manage cross-functional teams of software engineers, testers, and model developers to execute project tasks and deliverables effectively.
  • Coordinate with development and operations teams to implement best practices in software development, including utilizing Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), code repositories, and CI/CD tools.
  • Drive the adoption of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient delivery of software solutions.
  • Oversee software testing activities, ensuring the validation and verification of software artifacts and adherence to quality standards.
  • Facilitate model development activities, collaborating with stakeholders to determine and fulfill event requirements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in program or project management, with a focus on software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Target salary range: $112,000 - $199,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
