As part of the corporate Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) SAP team, this position will be critical for managing the SAP SD team and its associated portfolio. We are seeking a self-directed and motivated EPM leader with vital SAP SD (Sales and distribution) skills, strong Order-To-Cash business process and configuration experience. You must have business process and technical leadership skills to design and implement secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions. It also requires leading a team of highly motivated engineers to build process flows and functional specifications. Working with both onsite and offshore resources to make and test solutions, you will resolve issues under pressure to meet timelines, presenting solutions to multiple levels of management. Engage with Business and BPR partners; you will prioritize and strategize with them to ensure the projects and programs are implemented on time as per Business priorities. Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience, progressively responsible experience in job offered or related position
  • Experience in running a global and diverse team
  • Strong OTC business process knowledge, SAP SD configuration, development, and E2E Integration Testing skills
  • SAP Implementation Knowledge in SD (integration with CRM, MM, and FI/CO), along with SAP Retail experience, is highly desired
  • Experience with SAP S/4 and new technologies in SAP is desirable
  • Experience leading a team of SAP Functional resources, managing SAP projects, prioritizing work, and driving multiple projects in parallel
  • Consistent track record of successfully delivering projects on time, working with various internal and external teams
  • Ability to convey complex ideas and solutions clearly and easily
  • Ability to drive the project forward with a sense of urgency
  • Strong written communication skills, including business and functional requirements, management-level presentations, and proposals presentation
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, in addition to the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and drive consensus with critical constituents
  • Self-motivated as well as a motivator of others, goal and detail-oriented, sensitive to established scope & timelines, and strong at technical & functional analysis.

Description

The successful candidate will work closely with Apple's business and technical teams across regions, external partners (logistics, payments, etc.), and other 3rd parties. Much of this interaction will be with regional and global teams in different locations and other time zones, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of a project and people management, including: - Strong influence, persuasion, and excellent configuration and development skills to seamlessly integrate with front-end solutions (B2B e-Commerce, Apple Online Store, Point of Sale, Apple Care, and Apple Service Engineering) and other back-end solutions (SAP Retail, Data Warehouse). - Partner with Online engineering, Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis, and other teams during the design and implementation of SAP SD functionalities to support Apple Business. - Managing SAP functional resources, working and negotiating with vendors for contractor resources. - Supporting the business during requirements gathering to understand the project's needs. - Level of effort and scoping, including careful management of change requests. - Creating and managing the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plan. - Ensure the project scope is clearly defined and the resources, budget, and timeline adequately deliver the required solution. - Driving the functional and technical gap analysis. - Driving scalable and flexible designs, ensuring adherence to global design principles, security and compliance standards, and documentation standards. - Design governance and solution architecture in a complex pricing and payments landscape. - Problem tracking and driving resolutions across teams. - Status reporting within the team and to business and technical management groups. - Ensuring adequate test cycles are defined and implemented to support a smooth production launch. - Leading cutover and implementation activities across multiple business and technical teams. - Track issues and manage the scope of changes during warranty support to ensure a successful handover to the production support team.

Education & Experience

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a demonstrated ability of SAP SD functional experience.

Additional Requirements

  • High Tech or Retail industry industry experience
  • SAP HANA S/4 implementation experience with new SD related features will be an added advantage


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,400.00 and $289,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
