How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region:
The Associate Data Management Analyst is responsible for assisting Rail Operations, the Business System Analyst, the maintenance management team, and the analysis department with analyzing ridership maintenance, on-time performance, and other rail operations data. This position will also be responsible for the monthly and annual federal reporting of rail information and statistics to the National Transit Database Program.
NOTE: This position is eligible for a hybrid (both remote and onsite) telework arrangement. The candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
A bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), economics, statistics, computer science, mathematics or related field AND one (1) year of work experience in business analysis and/or data collection.

Most of work time is performed in a standard office setting. Travel to various locations in the nine county metropolitan areas will be required.

The Metropolitan Council considers felony, gross misdemeanor and misdemeanor convictions on a case-by-case basis, based on whether they are related to the job and whether the candidate has demonstrated adequate rehabilitation.
