Job Description
Weichert Development Company is hiring a Construction Project Coordinator in Morris Plains, NJ. The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to assisting in bid solicitation, project setup, project material/subcontractor scheduling/assistance/support, and project documentation. This position is also responsible for ensuring all project administrative functions are processed in accordance with company procedures. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Manages project documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.

* Creates and distributes a daily log and monitors labor/material/sub-contractor costs and budgets.

* Documents, tracks, and gains the necessary approvals for project change orders.

* Communicates timeline with subcontractors to ensure project requirements are being met.

* Coordinates, creates and maintains project schedules.

* Organizes, distributes, and collects bidding documents.

* Creates and maintains project binders and ensures that all applicable communication for the project is filed properly.

* Tracks, manages, and processes purchase orders and invoices.

* Schedules inspections and maintains correspondence with town officials.

* Manages and updates job procedures.

* Attends on-site and off-site meetings as necessary.

* Requests and coordinates subcontractor submittals.

* Provides administrative support to the team.

* Performs other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

* High school diploma or GED

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

* A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience

* Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications and construction processes preferred

* CAD and other interior design software experience is a plus.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, with a strong emphasis on Excel reporting and analysis, as well as PowerPoint

* Good oral and written communications skills

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
