Must fill out completed work orders and/or daily time sheets and turn them in daily. Monitors and maintains required supplies and tools in a neat and orderly fashion insuring that proper inventory is maintained, tools are functioning properly and readily accessible and that the work/production areas are in a clean and neat manner as evidenced by management or regulatory observation. Notify management of needed supplies in a timely manner by filling out material request forms.
- Responsible for responding to house calls in a timely manner.
- Responsible for completion of operational logs, reports, corrective and preventative work orders
- Responsible for handling off-hours shift and weekend calls by contacting necessary hospital staff, coordinating with hospital personnel or by contacting outside service companies.
- Monitoring hospital equipment-making and logging necessary adjustments.
- Assist/supervise contractors as necessary when making repairs or working in building.
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of relevant experience 5 to 7 years of documented work experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of chillers and boilers in a 400,000 sq ft commercial, industrial, institutional facility where the chiller plant capacity is 2,000 tons or greater and with a boiler plant of 40,000 lbs./hr. steam capacity or great
