This individual will manage and conduct requirements gathering for modernization needs or new capabilities and complete analysis of alternatives to present to a governance board or other stakeholders. Technical knowledge, business/systems analysis skills, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team to complete work on time are required, along with, the ability to change priorities regularly, assess priorities based on different data points, and create and improve processes.

TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.

US Citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience with at least 5 years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles with recent application modernization in the Federal sector
  • Experience developing business case analysis, identification of alternative solutions, and resulting business impacts, benefits, costs, and risks of each solution.
  • Experience in Google Drawings/Slides to document high-level system diagrams
  • SME in business and systems analysis
  • Experience in managing multiple projects, providing executive summaries, creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Creating and maintaining high-level project schedules to track the status of all projects
  • Experience in process improvement and creating repeatable processes for others to utilize
  • Experience establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, leadership, and users.
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and shifting priorities regularly
  • Knowledge of current Cloud technologies, architectures, best practices, cloud-native tools, emerging technologies, and trends

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in modernizing legacy applications to modern architectures such as microservices, serverless, containers, etc.
  • Knowledge of data integration methodologies
  • Knowledge of architecting and implementing Cloud-based enterprise IT solutions and integrating solutions to on-prem applications
  • Cloud Certifications
  • Agile Certifications
  • PM Certifications
  • Experience with Google Suite and creating dashboards in Sheets or Smartsheet
  • Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability
  • Knowledge of FEDRAMP and NIST requirements
  • Executive presence, poise, confidence in making decisions

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Management, or Engineering or equivalent technical professional experience required
  • Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work.
