Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your technical skills to solve complex, real-world problems? If so, this position is for you!

Our team is in need of a detail-oriented System Security Engineer to contribute to sponsor missions. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team of professionals to provide full systems engineering support across the system development lifecycle including concept definition, requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, and testing.

In this role, you will utilize systems engineering expertise to:

  • Develop system requirements
  • Conduct analysis of alternatives
  • Model use cases and system functions
  • Utilize test results to recommend system improvements

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Have 3+ years of experience with systems engineering applications including concept development, requirement generation, functional analysis, and analysis of alternatives.
  • Have experience in system modeling using UML/SysML and associated modeling software such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or SPARX EA.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills.
  • Are willing to travel to and from sponsor and test sites up to 20% of the time.
  • Hold an active Secret security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

  • Possess a MS or PhD: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Have experience with US Navy Combat Systems, weapons, sensors, or other related operational military technology.
  • Have utilized MBSE in support of system development.
  • Have worked with modeling frameworks such as the Department of Defense Architecture Framework or Unified Architecture Framework.
  • Hold an active Top Secret Security Clearance.
