Job Description
KPMG LLP, Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), New York, NY. Interact with hedge fund, private equity, venture capital, and limited partner investment and finance officers on the valuation of investments. Manage staff in the preparation of valuations for closely held or publicly traded companies with a focus on the alternative investment space. Work with financial models including diverse valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparable, transaction comparable, and allocation models. Perform analyses on financial and economic data, subject companies, guideline companies, industries and markets, and other types of fund and investment analysis. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other application and data providers. The salary is $173,555- $215,700 per year. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Completion of one of the following: CPA, REAL, ABV, CFA, MAI, CMA or Transfer Pricing Certificate from CIOT.

Of the required, must have 2 years of experience with the following: experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, valuation, financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, fixed income, or capital markets; Valuations of business entities; Financial analysis and research; and Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 5% is required.
