Sr. Product Launch and Change Coordinator

Job Functions (Essential)
  1. Lead engineering change management (ECM) activity for Rolls Royce Solutions America and process to be implemented at Rolls Royce Solutions America.
  2. Process incoming bill of material changes issued by Rolls-Royce Power Systems
  3. Oversee engineering change implementation for production ensuring changes are ready to start and any old parts are properly dispositioned
  4. Implement communication strategy for new models between all departments ensure quality and reliability, and on time delivery
  5. Implement ramp up, ramp down plans for new and old product lines.
  6. Lead product launch projects as required. Maintain and manage project scope and timelines to deliver product on time.
  7. Coordinate interdepartmental meetings to track tasks and issues
  8. Design, implement improve processes for SAP in Rolls Royce Solutions America for Engineering Change and Bill of Material
  9. Keep management abreast of progress, timelines, and pending issues
  10. Work closely with other departments within Aiken and similar departments in Rolls-Royce Power Systems to improve efficiencies and processes, coordinate tasks, and maintain positive working relationships
  11. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  12. Fill in for other members of order management as needed
  13. Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
  14. Perform special projects as required

Qualifications:

Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Required:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Math/Science and 5 years of experience in project management or manufacturing engineering in a large equipment manufacturing environment; or 9 years of project management or manufacturing engineering experience in a large equipment manufacturing environment
  2. Excellent project management skills
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, where problems are very complex
  4. Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills, with a high level of detail and accuracy
  5. Strong interpersonal skills
  6. Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
  7. Strong ability to work independently, with little direction, and effectively with others
  8. Ability to travel - domestic and international
  9. Must be available to work flexible hours
  10. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite

Preferred:
  1. Knowledge of MTU products, policies, and procedures
  2. Knowledge and experience in developing heavy-duty diesel engine architectures and designs
