The SPA Contracts and Procurement organization strategically supports the operating Divisions to assist in company growth and reduce contractual risk. The Sr. Contracts Administrator is responsible for leading the contract administration activities related to SPA's programs primarily focused on DoD. The right individual will ideally have experience managing the life cycle of contracts as a prime contractor for the U.S. Federal Government.

SPA has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities
    Primary contractual point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer and SPA program personnel.
  • Maintain responsibility for prime contract administration, including modifications, equitable adjustments, reporting and file maintenance in a secure environment.
  • Ability to independently negotiate terms and conditions, scope, cost and price of government contracts at assigned thresholds.
  • Exercise a high degree of independent judgment and have autonomy for the assigned area of responsibility. Requires a significant degree of analytical ability to understand and interpret complex data and solve complex problems.
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization, acting as liaison with customers' buying official for all proposal or contract matters.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in contract administration with contractors supporting the U.S. Federal Government.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Minimum Active TS/SCI w/ CI poly clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • TS clearance desired.
