Job Description

TSC is currently looking to hire a Program Support Analyst in support of business analytics for the program management office at corporate. It is expected the candidate will take ownership of program metrics, program data analysis, and program support tasks to help manage the program management office's portfolio and improve analytics for program performance across the company. Responsibilities will include improving dashboards, metrics, and execution criteria to effectively manage corporate risk and investment projects. The candidate will directly support the heads of the corporate PMO in improving program and risk management efforts across TSC. The candidate could be located in the vicinity of one of TSC's locations (DC Metro/Aurora, CO/Huntsville, AL).

Common Responsibilities:

  • Product portfolio performance analysis
  • Product business case support
  • Return on investment analysis and assessment for products and investments
  • Product forecasting, market analysis, capacity analysis, and manufacturing metric analysis
  • Process support and enforcement for corporate program management reviews
  • Frequent discussions with internal customers and stakeholders to identify program/productneeds
  • Support risk mitigation strategies corporately with program controls and the PMO to improve corporate insight and management
  • Clearly communicate issues and risks to senior management and illustrate good judgement in keeping management informed
  • Enable the expansion of current and new work by improving resource planning and analysis
  • Support quarterly/monthly business operations reviews and yearly budget planning
  • Support pricing analysis, basis of estimate creation, price models, and resource models to improve operations within the PMO

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in an Engineering or Business discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in defense, federal or intelligence industry
  • Experienced in working through the DoD acquisition lifecycle, along with a strong understanding of FFP, CPFF, and T&M contract types
  • Experience developing and managing budgets within government accounting frameworks
  • Experience with the management of the product life cycle: from R&D to production to O&M
  • Self-motivated and free-thinking individual capable of independent technical discussion, program leadership, and significant internal customer interaction
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work and maximize productivity
  • Proven history of successfully managing program financials and metrics
  • Experience in developing formal government proposal responses and pricing justifications
  • Strong managerial background with experience in one (or more) of the following areas:
    • Signals Intelligence
    • Electronic Warfare
    • Radar
    • Communications
    • Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MFA, MBA or PMP preferred

Security Clearance Required: Yes, will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Travel: Yes (~10%)
