Chevois hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding firm in the Washington, DC area. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding work related to engineering design, estimating, permitting, bidding, construction, and close-out. This will be a hybrid position, with site located in Washington DC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR
  • Interact with other contractors and coordinate and sequence work that avoids duplication.
  • Organize work through means such as a PMP (Project Management Plan), or PXP (Project Execution Plan), GANNT charts (or equivalent), decisions trees, logic models, and other management tools.
  • Actively engage with and interact with other cross-agency offices to create a training strategy, implement course creation, update content, and manage delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Aid in the development of the design of future grant appropriations.

Required Qualifications:

  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • At least 10 years of professional project/program management experience
  • Knowledgeable about engineering design, estimating, permitting, bidding, construction, and close-out.
  • Understanding of basic grant processes
  • Experience with the Federal Emergency Management Agency preferred.
