Job Summary
B&A is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Access & Identity Management (OAIM) Database Analyst to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and maintain the Oracle databases that support access and identity management solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle database administration, with a focus on security and access control.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases to support access and identity management solutions, including Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support access and identity management requirements.
  • Configure and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, role-based access control (RBAC), and encryption.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure optimal response times for access and identity management services.
  • Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including database errors, performance problems, and connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, application developers, and other stakeholders to support access and identity management requirements.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on Oracle database releases, patches, and security advisories relevant to access and identity management solutions.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification required
Required Skills
  • Proven experience as an Oracle database administrator, with expertise in Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including database instance, schema, tablespaces, and data files.
  • Experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) products, including Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Access Manager (OAM).
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
  • Knowledge of database security principles and best practices, particularly as they relate to access and identity management.
  • Familiarity with LDAP directory services, such as Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) or Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desired Skills
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification in database administration.
  • Experience with Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) for LDAP virtualization.
  • Familiarity with single sign-on (SSO) solutions and authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth).
  • Knowledge of federation services and identity federation protocols (e.g., SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with access governance solutions for role management and attestation.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to access and identity management (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Ability to automate routine database administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of database administration and access management.
Security Clearance
  • Must be able to pass a NACL background investigation
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required
