Property Specialist

Duties:

• Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
• Performs audits, documents processes and procedures and investigates and reports lost or damaged property.
• Provides support, expertise, concepts and formats to enhance and manage information by utilizing EPA Asset Management software to manage and communicate property information and to establish a property record for government property. Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition.
• Tracks the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location in accordance with applicable regulations, contract requirement and corporate policy. Ensures that property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with contract requirements.
• Coordinates the physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations. Verifies that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand.
• Confirms that work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable regulations, contractual terms and conditions, and corporate policy. Participates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures.
• Handles disposition of property identified by the EPA customer per contractual requirements in accordance with procedures.
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Operate a Forklift

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Asset Management Software.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing assets.
• Experience working with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations, agency supplements, and processes for lifecycle management of Government property.

• High School Degree or higher
