Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

    Maintaining development/test environments to perform code fixes/modifications and to test the changes on multiple website platforms prior to the deployment to the production environment.
  • Deploying updated versions to the production environment in accordance with the agency change and release management processes.
  • Maintaining mobile platform solutions that enables agency to collect and consume real-time data of programs designed to measure services delivery quality via agency survey and assessment tools.
  • Resolving incident and service request per the Priority Level 2 SLAs for the application and business services support.
  • Updating system documents such as requirements such as Technical Architecture design (TAD and other relevant documents as required annually or upon major changes to architectural environment.
  • Maintaining the agency survey applications platforms and deploying updated versions to the production environment in accordance with the approved change and release management processes.
  • Providing quarterly maintenance releases to make improvements to deployed solution based on end user feedback and frequently requested functionality or program changes.
  • Performing load and performance testing, per major release and annually, for Priority Level 2 business services.
  • Collaborating with team to support mobile solution development and deployment.
  • Supporting the update and maintenance of Operations and Maintenace (O&M) plans.
  • Supporting application and tool development with a AWS or Azure cloud environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Completed BS/BA with 8 - 11 years, or MS with 6 - 9 years, or PhD with 3 -6 years of experience; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing web applications.
  • Working knowledge of key Agile processes, techniques, and methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working in Agile team environment with analysts, developers, testers, production support staff, stakeholders, and external vendor partners.
  • Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience unit testing their code and performing code reviews.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualification:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Experience developing within a custom (in-house) and PaaS/SaaS environment.
  • Experience with SonarQube for development, continuous integration, and deployment.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
