**Salary $60,000-$65,000 per year**
About Your Role:
The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for effectively supporting the Employee Relations function to ensure professional, comprehensive, business focused and timely employee relations guidance and support are provided to all levels of the operations.This role will demonstrate a sense of urgency, high level of trust, confidentiality, good judgment and collaboration with all levels of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert ER advice to multiple operations on issues such as absence, disciplinary, grievances. Will shadow SHRBP and/or HRD on higher level investigations such as harassment, and discrimination.
  • Acts as ER SME to drive a positive culture and work environment aligned to Pathways policies, practices and processes.
  • Provides employee relations support to the SHRBP by researching, investigating, presenting solutions and ensuring successful closure of employee issues.
  • Serves as a first point-of-contact for employee and supervisor questions on HR policies and/or processes. Maintains a high-quality, timely, and professional service.
  • Prepares reports for the SHRBP regarding items such as monthly ER log, state level turnover, termination reasons, and any additional items as assigned.
  • Understanding of county, state and federal legal requirements that pertains to their respective states.
  • Collects and analyze human resources data (new hire, exit and climate surveys) identify trends, areas of opportunity, providing recommendations and solutions.
  • Manage the performance evaluation process including tracking attestations, ensuring timelines are met, sending reminder, training and point of contact for all employee and/or supervisor inquiries.
  • Partners with Senior HR Director, SHRBP and Compliance for various compliance audits including FLSA, compensation and systems data integrity.
  • Ability to create and conduct HR training on various HR issues.
  • Creates or update documents for SHRBP review including job descriptions, memos, FAQs and reminders.
  • Manage the FMLA/LOA/ADA administration including tracking, serving as point of contact to vendor, employees and supervisors.
  • Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Consistently provides all customers of organization with an excellent service.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with at least one-year Employee Relations experience.
  • Human Resources fundamental knowledge of concepts, principles and practices.
  • Proven experience within an ER specialist role and/or HR operational experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding and application of employment legislation. Ability to identify risks and make fair decisions with guidance and support that meets the needs of the business.
  • Ability to plan and organize conflicting priorities in order to effectively manage and accomplish work. Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to cater message to the audience/communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to ask probing questions with critical thinking skills in order to conduct investigations and other related initiatives.
  • Proven track record of adding business value, working successfully with business unit leaders in a client focused, highly competitive and fast changing industry, and operating in a matrixed environment.
  • ADP reporting exposure. Understands the importance of cultivating working relationships.
