Compensation Data

Job Summary

A Proposal Coordinator's core duty is to ensure that all the company's technical proposals are fully implemented from start to finish. This involves coordinating the proposal process and preparing the actual proposals. In addition to these core responsibilities, the proposal coordinator will help supervise and communicate the upcoming projects for procurement; be responsible for the DBE/ Minority Process/Outreach for projects that are Federally Funded. When vital, the proposal coordinator will be responsible to develop content on pre-qualifications, technical proposals, and interviews.

Main Responsibilities
  • Routinely monitor key customers to update potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate and attend partner and owner meetings to gather market intelligence.
  • Assist in preparing reports to communicate pursuits to management (including JV agreements, AD Checklist, AD Report Write Up, and Large Project Write Ups
  • Develop Wire Frames for Technical Proposal Preparation
  • Coordinating and collecting project-specific information and developing content to meet RFP guidelines.
  • Responsibility for the final proposal product: printing, binding, and delivery coordination.
  • Scheduling proposal/pursuit deadlines utilizing work plans, calendars, and maintaining deadlines among business development and technical staff.
  • Assisting business development and operations in proposal strategy development and execution.
  • Works with business development and other regional departments for interview preparation.
  • For Multi phased pursuits-assist in developing and submitting Pre-Qualification packages
  • Organize and maintain project documents for active pursuits.
  • Responsibility for the DBE/Minority GFE Process/Outreach to assist the Estimating Department to achieve Goals set by Agencies.
  • Support Estimating Team by uploading all active bidding projects to Pantera for vendor solicitations.
Education
  • Bacheloras Degree in Communications/Marketing or an equivalent combination technical training and/or related experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of office experience
Skills
  • Must be dependable self-starter.
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications, including CRM Dynamics
  • Proficiency in using social media software for content creation and monitoring (i.e. Hootsuite, Meltwater)
  • California driver's license
  • Clean DMV record
  • Fundamental Understanding of Southern California Construction Market
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Must be accurate and neat
