Manhattan Strategy Group is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Conference Planner to take the lead in coordinating and finalizing regional events and logistics aligned with market intelligence events. The Senior Conference Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of conferences and events, including contract management, vendor coordination, project planning, budget management, and staff coordination. This role requires a forward-thinking and highly organized individual with a strong background in event planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events at various stages simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate regional events and logistics for market intelligence events.
  • Manage all aspects of conference planning, including contract negotiation, vendor selection and management, and budget oversight.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring that all event elements are well-coordinated and executed on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues and challenges related to event logistics and planning.
  • Coordinate staff and team members to ensure effective event execution and support.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings and workshops related to event planning and execution.
  • Capture and consolidate feedback on deliverables and event performance.
  • Utilize conference planning tools and software to streamline planning and logistics management.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the event planning process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in conference planning and event management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of conference planning and event management experience, demonstrating a strong track record of successful event execution.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent education or experience.
  • Proficiency in multi-logistics event planning, including contract management, vendor coordination, project planning, and budget management.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate and address challenges in event planning.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple events at various stages simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and conference planning software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
