As a Cash Posting Supervisor, you will:
Supervise the Physicians' Billing Office Cash Posting Unit, monitor incoming cash volumes, and make appropriate staffing changes
Planning organized, and optimized reconciliation of payer explanation of benefits (EOB), explanation of review (EOR), remittance advice (RA), and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA-835) for timely payment posting and aging requirements
Evaluate remittance errors to ensure accuracy and efficiency by analyzing documentation for discrepancies while monitoring payment types and amounts trends
Identify payers utilizing paper methods and report for ERA/EFT transition
Be highly skilled in credit resolution, payment posting, refund processing, follow-up, and collection functions performed within FPG PBO to maintain objectives and follow policies established by UCLA Faculty Practice Group
Be the subject matter expert in CareConnect for payment posting, payment tracer, payment correction, and cash posting staff on maximizing their production and quality
Perform analysis, identify trends, and submit recommendations to FPG PBO Manager and PBO Director for approval before implementation
Salary Range: $64,800 - $137,600 Annually
Qualifications
We're seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, service-driven leader with:
Two years experience in cash posting, credit analysis, and resolution, remittance processing, or related field
Two years of supervisory experience or a lead position
Skills in performing in-depth analysis and identifying trends.
Skill in using Microsoft Office products, customer service-related, and multiple other software programs.
Ability to establish and maintain contact with internal and external customers and vendors.
Ability to develop and maintain performance metrics for the area of assignment.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
Ability to provide guidance and training to assigned staff.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Perform ongoing data analysis and report trends
Report system problems and/or issues
Determine causes for variances or issues
Recommend solutions to correct problems
Collect, present, and interpret data
Evaluate progress or implementation
Working knowledge of the CareConnect (EPIC) billing system, preferred
Revenue Cycle Experience, preferred
