Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Media Specialist 2/ graphic designer to help turn information and data into easy to comprehend graphics. You will use engaging visualization and design techniques to enhance learning and development curriculum in support of a prime contract in the Annapolis Junction area. In an environment where getting key information to the right people fast can make a difference in our national security, your skills are vital. We're looking for a graphic designer to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll have a constant flow of projects to support through use of cutting edge technologies. You will use a variety of applications to develop and manipulate graphics, illustrations, photos, models or animations for training and learning solutions. In addition to bringing your own design skills and experience to the team, you'll have the opportunity to learn new aspects of visual communications from a team of highly skilled visual design specialists.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual illustrations
• Develop digital graphics and artwork
• Develop or convert graphics from photographs or video to provide a "virtual world" look and feel
• Develop 3D models
• Develop 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics
• Design webpage layouts
• Develop 3D environments
• Capture photographs to create digital images
• Conceptualize, direct, capture and edit desktop video and full-motion digital video

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art, Graphic Design, Fine Art, Design Art, Computer Science, Computer Graphic Design/Computer Graphics or related field and four (4) years of experience in media production (OR) an Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in media production (OR) High School diploma and minimum of eight (8) years of media production for a total of eight (8) years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
