The HSE is responsible for providing technical field support, training, and motion control system design with a focus on the total hydraulic system: motion controller, hydraulic power unit, valve control, and actuators. Assigned area: Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates newer H.S.E. training.
  • Support hydraulic design and electronic interface.
  • Consult with division non new product development and marketing.
  • Assist territory and regional manager in adapting current and new products to customer need and satisfaction.
  • Assist the regional manager in managing the technical qualification of the H.T.C distributor network.
  • Provide technical expertise on product and total system design applications to close on final sale.
  • Consult with customers regarding product and capabilities.
  • Assist design and manufacturing in the development of new and/or revised product systems according to customer requirements.
  • Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a given product or project.
  • Teaches or facilitates territory manager in technical training of customers and distributors.
  • Will have direct account responsibility as needed

Qualifications

  • 4-10 years in Fluid Power sales and/or engineering.
  • Advanced technical competence in hydraulics.
  • 4 year college degree in engineering, (ME or EE preferred)
  • Experience in sizing and specifying hydraulic components (to include valves, pumps, motors, cylinders, accumulators, and filters) for mobile and industrial fluid power systems
  • Minimum of 4 to 10 years' experience in motion control systems design: ranging from the motion controller through the HPU and hydraulic valves to the hydraulic actuators.
  • Experience working with major OEMs and fluid power distribution

Please not that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate eperience, qualifications and location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $98,429-$164,140
