Job Description

GovMobile is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Mobile Device Administrator.

 
 

The Mobile Device Administrator is primarily responsible for systems administration of the enterprise mobile device management environment.

 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 
 
  • Administration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems and other mobile infrastructure systems (BES5, BES10, Airwatch)
  • Serves as the key technical contact between Infrastructure Systems Management and the Messaging Mobility team for MDM
  • Maintenance and communication of existing, new, and evolving mobility practices, knowledgebase articles and documentation
  • Operational support for general roll-out of MDM management system
  • Distribution of enterprise applications for various device platforms
  • Ensures mobile implementations are in line with privacy, legal, security policies, and corporate standards
  • Testing and evaluation of various new devices against enterprise email and MDM systems
  • Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory administration and support
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Plans and coordinates maintenance and upgrades of MDM and other mobile infrastructure systems
  • Resolves escalations from the IT Service Desk and other IT support teams
  • Keeps abreast of mobile and messaging technologies and enhancements
  • Implementing MDM security baselines

    Qualifications & Requirements

     
     

    Education (Required)

     
     

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems

     
     

    Certifications (preferred)

     
     

    BlackBerry Certified Server Support Specialist or BlackBerry Certified System Administrator

     
     

    ITIL Certification

     
     

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 10+ years of progressive experience working in a medium to large IT environment
  • 10+ years experience with technical trouble-shooting and hands-on experience with iOS, Android, Windows, and BlackBerry mobile devices in an enterprise setting.
  • 10+ years of experience with a MDM tools
  • 5+ years of experience with BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5 & 10
  • 3+ years experience with Airwatch
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync, and Active Directory management
  • Project Management experience
  • Positive attitude, team work orientation
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional writing skills, including documenting solution architectures, support information
