Job Summary: The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support for the Electronic Health Record system, mainly eCW and Brig-It Bridge-IT. Includes assisting in the maintenance and integrity of data systems within the Medical and Dental services, designing and producing regular reports utilized by staff and managers within the Services and analyzing the results with the Quality Improvement Manager and Department Business Manager. This position requires the utilization of various data systems (Open Dental, CHL, imaging software(s), Finance, etc.) and data reporting tools.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensure timely accurate data reporting.

Collect and analyze Program data to help meet Program and Departmental business goals.

Design, maintain, and run standard reoccurring reports for multiple Programs.

Develop reports and analysis to help ensure data integrity.

Review data findings with stakeholders for timely corrections, as necessary.

Assist with the maintenance of various data systems.

Maintain a routine detailed reporting schedule which includes checklists and timetables to meet project and reporting deadlines.

Notify management team of approaching deadlines in a timely manner.

Communicate pertinent information to the Quality Improvement Manager, Director and appropriate staff throughout SCC as needed in a timely fashion, with advanced notification when possible related to EMR.

Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting as needed per the Quality Improvement Manager, Business/Data Systems Manager, and Directors.

Health Information Technology

  1. Act as the point of contact with Information Technology department regarding upgrades, changes or issues with the EMR.
  2. Act as point of contact for external EMR support services including: eCW Support, DCPCA and external contractors.
  3. Plan and facilitate staff trainings on the Health Information Technology utilization including educating clinic staff on the use of the EMR and reporting system as well as updating staff on upgrades and process changes with Super-users and QI Manager.
  4. Design reports to demonstrate program outcomes, including clinic operations and grant-funded project outcomes. Work closely with DCPCA and PCC to build complex reports.
  5. Actively participate in providing clinic information requested by the Grant Writer to assist in the procurement of funding and other resources.
Requirements

Education and Experience Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Systems Management, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with computers, advance knowledge of Excel, and experience with databases, including data entry, quality assurance, and report writing.
  • Some knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Records (eCW, CHL, Open Dental, etc.), and reporting tools (Crystal Reports- a plus).
  • 1+ year clinical operations and data analysis experience preferred.
  • Experience working with underserved population a plus.
