Marstel-Day, its partners, staff, consultants, and colleagues, work in the fast-paced and constantly changing environmental conservation and consulting industry. The Company frequently needs to bring on board additional self-motivated and skilled professionals to meet emergent task orders and contracts. We are looking for individuals with strong educational and experiential backgrounds related to (as well having a passionate interest in) environmental matters. We seek candidates who possess excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills, minimally having proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point). Individuals with significant and relevant work experience with federal, state, or local government, or private sector firms in environmental management with substantial working familiarity with NEPA, CWA and ESA, who also possess a strong understanding of, and successful involvement in governmental, local or regional land-use planning and conservation strategies, regulatory and policy formulation, together with experience facilitating meetings and workshops, conducting outreach, and developing strategies, policies and plans would be considered for senior positions. Project management skills, a working knowledge of federal procurement and contracting practices, and military experience or experience working with the military are each positive additional attributes for applicants to possess.
