Helping women, children and families in greatest need throughout the District of Columbia since 1976, House of Ruth provides a comprehensive array of housing, services and supports in therapeutic environments. At House of Ruth, staff members assist women, children and families to heal and develop the skills and capacity to eliminate homelessness and abuse from their lives. On a typical day, we serve nearly 300 women and 300 children at twelve locations.
