Our Identity

Translated from a Punjabi native dialect of south Asia, Karta means 'Can Do'. As individual employees and members of the larger Karta team, we provide services with that mantra in mind: no job is too large or too small, and no challenge is beyond our reach. We take pride in having a team of problem-solvers that don't just meet customer expectations, but also build relationships that foster success both for the customer and for Karta.

The Karta Team has grown steadily since the birth of the company in 1986, when GP Singh founded Karta Technologies in his garage. Today, there are more than 450 Team Members at numerous offices and customer locations throughout the United States, and we have maintained a growth rate of over 40% every year for the last four years. And although such rapid growth has meant that the hiring of new Team Members sometimes follows that accelerated pace, Karta always hires the right people for the job. Karta employees don't just bring the right qualifications to a project; they also bring the 'Can Do' attitude that makes the difference.

In a 2004 survey with a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 being 'Highly Recommended'), 92% of customers rated us '4' or '5' when asked how likely they would be to advocate their organization to hire Karta for other projects or tasks.
