From our company headquarters in Laurel, Maryland, ICS Technologies provides four facets of support to military and homeland security operations: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Engineering Solutions, Information Technology (IT) Services, and Converged Technologies Services.

ICS Technologies offers combined staff experience of nearly 100 years supporting SIGINT projects, engineering applications, IT development support, and converged technologies services. With cleared and former-military personnel known within the defense and intelligence communities, ICS is dedicated to designing solutions that work for our customers based on prior experience as operators and managers who were encouraged to deal with solutions that didn’t work.

Services:

ICS Technologies maintains a workforce of highly skilled, cleared technicians who have designed, built, and deployed innovative SIGINT hardware devices and provided analytical training to support equipment installation. We have provided follow-on software engineering to enhance and upgrade initial products, while also ensuring the implementation of systems security requirements on the IT infrastructure.

ICS offers services in the areas of operational and analytical support, SIGINT engineering design, Information Technology support, and Converged Technologies services. Our workforce is well versed in supporting national security programs, and is dedicated to the idea that “we are all in this together.” Our personnel have supported both sides of a systems fielding plan, and therefore, they understand what is needed to deliver a quality product that both satisfies the requirements and is operator-friendly.

When it comes to operational and analytical support, there is no substitute for experience. At ICS, we have “been there, done that.” The experience level within ICS is rather remarkable; our personnel have been deploying and using systems all over the world to solve a wide variety of technical problems.

While no technology plan is simple, complex ideas and engineering designs can always be simplified to help the end-user better understand interfaces and inter-dependencies. ICS engineers always strive to reduce the complexity of electronic operations to an average user’s level. We believe that the greatest utilization of any equipment will be achieved when the end-user is comfortable enough with the technology that he or she will delve deeper into the capabilities of the system, and discover things that were never intended. In other words, a well-trained and knowledgeable operator will make a given piece of equipment do more than it was designed to do. That’s when you, our customer, obtain the most value from your investment.

One of the more specialized areas of Information Technology is Information Assurance (IA), otherwise known as computer security. Our IA professionals have been involved in the security aspects of new systems design, network security, and intrusion detection equipment. They have written the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for multiple large-scale systems, to include those that run on classified networks. Our personnel are instrumental in securing networks and maintaining data integrity for our customers.

Another specialized area of support is Converged Technologies. ICS provides custom, turn-key solutions for audio/visual services, teleconferencing services, and security systems and services. We tailor our solutions to our customers' requirements, objectives, and budget — whether they require basic or sophisticated design and installation needs.
