For over 20 years, the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board has been an integral part of the District government. The D.C. Lottery annually generates over $60 million to help the District government meet the needs of its citizens.

Since its inception, the D.C. Lottery has contributed more than $1 billion dollars to the general fund of the District of Columbia. Revenue generated through the D.C. Lottery supports city services such as education and public safety.
