Triad Interactive is a women-owned small business specializing in Rich Internet Application development. Our core business is developing Web-based learning and assessment programs for higher education. We use a variety of technologies, including HTML and JavaScript, Flash, Flex, ASP.NET, AJAX, XML, PHP, VB.NET, C++, C#, Java, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.

Our flagship program is SimNet® – a simulated Microsoft Office learning and assessment application developed for the McGraw-Hill Companies. More than 250,000 students worldwide have used the SimNet program for Microsoft Office skills assessment. While SimNet is primarily distributed to the secondary and higher education markets through the McGraw-Hill Companies, Triad also markets and sells a retail version of SimNet to individuals and corporate training departments via www.officetestprep.com.

Triad is actively involved in cancer education and in research projects to assess the usefulness of technology for helping high risk populations make decisions about managing their cancer risk and treatment. One of our recent interactive Web sites, Prostate Cancer Screening: Making the Best Decision, was selected as a winner of the American Public Health Association’s Public Health Education and Health Promotion Materials contest. This project was developed for Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University Medical Center and Washington Hospital Center.

What benefits does Triad offer?

Medical:Company pays 100% premiums for individual HMO; spouse and family and PPO option available at employee expense
Dental:Company pays 100% premiums for employees; spouse and family available at employee expense
Life Insurance:Company pays 100% premiums for employees for $25,000-$50,000 life insurance under our group policy
Paid Holidays:10-12 per year (varies according to how busy we are)
Vacation/Personal Leave:4 hours accrued per pay period with an additional 16 hours added every January 1 (total of 14 days annually); additional vacation may be added with seniority
Sick Days:2 hours accrued per pay period (total of 6 days annually)
Retirement:Employees are eligible to participate in SIMPLE IRA as of January 1 after their date of employment. Company matches up to 3% of salary.
