Echelon seeks a highly motivated and skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team supporting the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and improving the consistency of the collective voice present in technical documents, leveraging their expertise in both business operations and information technology. Your position will work closely with the technical team to leverage technology and optimize business processes to drive efficiency and innovation in our customer solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Woork on strategy plans, documents, and briefing materials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various functions to understand their requirements and gather feedback on current processes.
- Assist in the design and development of clients strategy and functional implementation of the strategy.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications for process improvements and technical implementations.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Understand business requirements for strategic efforts and communicate in written documentation.
- Conduct interviews with clients and stakeholders for better understanding and clarity of topics
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Eligible for a tier 3 DOD clearance
