The various tasks performed by Atlantic Shores’ Engineering Team demand detail-oriented individuals with multi-faceted skills, particularly in-depth technical knowledge, flexibility, enthusiasm for individual and team tasks, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
As an Engineering Intern, an individual will work in a multi-disciplinary team and will play a central role in supporting project design, optimization, value-decision making, project implementation within schedule and budget, as well as reporting and documentation activities. This is a hybrid role that will be based atour Brooklyn, NY office. Hybrid work requires at least 3 days a week on average onsite.
This position will allow an intern to perform assignments that will develop professional working knowledge and abilities through involvement with a wide variety of engineering activities, all in support of designing and delivering on the Atlantic Shores’ offshore wind portfolio generally, or a specific project within same. As an intern, you will exercise limited, but increasing, judgment in performing your assigned duties using methods prescribed by your supervisor.

Majority of time will be spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. A small amount of time may be spent on incidental, local travel to Atlantic Shores current and prospective worksites.
